Learning & Assessment Manager
Athena has worked at OCC Enterprises for 19 years in various roles within the organisation including OC Connections – My Life & OC Connections – My Home. At OCC Enterprises, Athena has used her Bachelor of Applied Science in Intellectual Disability Studies qualifications in her roles as Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Coordinator before moving into the position of Learning & Assessment Manager.
The Learning & Assessment Manager position involves the continuous improvement of policies and procedures which are used to ensure compliance to the National Standards for Disability Services, the identification & management of Health & Safety at multiple sites and as an accredited Trainer & Assessor is responsible for the participants wage assessments. The wage assessment process supports the skill development of participants to achieve their employment goals and to build their skills that will provide opportunities to transition into new roles within the organisation and open employment.
